Rings with larger bands will fit more snugly. If you intend to measure one of your partner’s bands, try to choose one that is the same width as the ring you wish to buy.
Check if the finger is at normal body temperature – fingers may shrink or stretch in response to heat or cold.
Because your fingers change size during the day, the ideal time to measure them is at the end of the day.
If your knuckle is larger, take two measurements and choose a size in between – the ring should fit over the knuckle but not be too loose or it may move about.
